Pengembangan Teknologi Infra Merah untuk Mendeteksi Kadar Minyak Kelapa sebagai Bahan Pemalsu Minyak Nilam Aceh

Abstrak: Saat ini pemalsuan produk atsiri menjadi salah satu isu yang sangat menarik, khususnya nilam. Pemalsuan biasanya merupakan pencampuran antara bernilai rendah dengan tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang teknologi NIRS sebagai metode cepat dan tepat dalam memprediksi kadar minyak kelapa dicampurkan didalam nilam Alat digunakan pada lain GCMS, Thermo Nicolet Antaris II TM, botol kaca 3 ml, gelas kimia, timbangan digital, micropipette, Magnetic Stirrer, Software Unscrambler X versi 10.3. Bahan (Crude Oil) PUI PT Nilam Atsiri Research Center (ARC) Universitas Syiah Kuala diperoleh pasaran. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa Teknologi near infrared reflectance spectroscopy (NIRS) partial least square (PLS) telah berhasil prediksi pretreatment Derivative 1 (D1). Metode koreksi terbaik mempediksi adalah (D1), pretreatmen memperbaiki model dibangun oleh PLS, dimana PLS-D1 memiliki ikatan variable latent 6, nilai RPD sebesar 3,13 korelasi (r) 0.94, koefisien determinasi (R2) 0.89 root mean erorr calibration (RMSEC) 9,17.
